Nothing excites me more for spring than tulips, so it was one of my favorite days of this new year in Oregon attending the Tulip Festival. I was in AWE! Rows and rows as far as the eye could see of gorgeous blooming tulips. All kinds. All colors. Just beautiful. I wish my mom and sister could have seen it like this when they were here a few weeks ago.
If only photos could do it justice...
It was so fun seeing how much the little guy enjoyed it. He is so into colors right now, so it was great practice!

I always thought it would be neat to make it to Holland some day to see the tulips and windmills,
but this may be as close as we ever get.
Oh how I love family field trips!
