A Quick One for Today

Once upon a time,

I took my two kids to the grocery store.

While looking for the right kind of salsa I hear,

"Mommy. Do you know I love you?"

softly, out of nowhere.

And my heart melted.

Best grocery trip ever.

(Heaven knows I've had my challenging days with this almost three year old.

But moments like this make every second worth it.)

November Love

Oregon may have the most beautiful autumn I could imagine. I would have loved to do a full photoshoot with these guys showing off our hometown... Too bad kids don't love playing in 40 degree weather for hours. Here is our small attempt to show off the brilliant red leaves in our tiny front yard.

Oh yeah... October!

Hello, November, where did you come from? I'm still trying to catch up with life. Aren't we all?

I really do love October. We made it to three pumpkin patches this year, ate lots of chili and corn bread, enjoyed bowls of candy corn and pumpkin cookies, and had a blast trick or treating with our little guys.

And I think this is the cutest skunk in the world!

Lastly, we were lucky enough to see our families earlier in October during a utah visit. I adore these little guys.... even if you are some of the most difficult subjects to photograph lately!
