A New Year!

It's January. It's 2011. Crazy. I always feel so much pressure at the beginning of the new year. Like I'm supposed to have all sorts of goals and "resolutions." Of course I always want to improve and be a better, healthier, happier person. But I'm never good at keeping up with those January lists. Last year I made only ONE resolution.... to learn how to juggle. Just for fun. I just thought it would be a funny random hidden talent that I could show off to my kids someday. Well, that was a bust. The whole year went by and I think I tried.... once. Hmmm, maybe someday.

This year my goals may be a little more practical, realistic, and simple. I won't bore you with my mental list. But I do just like to think of how important it is to take the year

One day at a time

Be a little better today than I was yesterday.

One of my goals for the year is to catch up on my photobook making. You know me. All about the memories. Making books for Stephen's and my childhoods, Stephen's mission, our first years being married, etc. I have LOTS to do but by December 31st I plan to be caught up. Then everyone will have to come visit me to admire all my hard work. :)

Another goal is just to enjoy all the quality time with the family. I am starting to do more "preschool" type activities with Jacob. He's learning so much. Is there anything more adorable than a kid learning to talk? Last night he said, "Wuv you." And I melted.

{Wow. I haven't taken any new photos except for this in the last three weeks.}

Here's to an exciting New Year!
