Thanks for Visiting!

My Mom, my sister Rachel and her baby Brigham came to visit us a few weeks ago. What a fun weekend! I loved showing them around our little town and we all had fun doing the touristy stuff around Oregon despite it being a record-breaking-rainy month!

We started in Portland on Wednesday. Went to the first Original Pancake House. Y.U.M. and then to Powell's Books- the bookstore that takes up an entire city block. We may have gotten carried away in the children's literature section. Later we hit up the food trucks downtown and had the best crepes ever.

We went to Tillamook to visit the cheese factory. Now I am an Oregonian- I've become a Tillamook snob. Our freezer is constantly stocked with Tillamook Icecream, and we never choose a different brand of cheese.

(Poor Brigham couldn't enjoy the cheese or icecream samples, but his sock seemed good enough.)

We drove up past Tillamook to Girabaldi, a tiny coastal town, and discovered this fantastic old train yard/museum.
To say Jacob was in "Tuwain" heaven would be an understatement.

Back at home, we got the boys matchy PJs and attempted a mini-photoshoot with them.

Thanks Rach for making this adorable "Cousins" storyboard. Cute little buddies. Jacob just ADORES baby Brigham, and I'm grateful that he is such a trooper to put up with all the lovey tackles.

So grateful you all made the trip. It means the world to me.
