Dear Stephen,
I know you have been asking for a Dog since the day we got married and I always seem to have some excuse to not get one. (Am I bad wife?) Again, the other day you asked. Here is your answer.
We do not need a dog.
Sure, you can teach a dog new tricks. But you can do that with our Baby, too.
You can take a dog for walks on the beach. But you can do that with our Baby, too.
Dogs slobber all over and chew on the furniture. How convenient, our baby does that, too.
And Dogs hate baths, don't they?
Go Fetch? He's interested.
See? He's already your "best friend."
So... maybe someday when we graduate and get a HOUSE we can discuss the issue again.
Love,
Your Wife

I love this entry! (I'm a non dog/cat lover. I don't hate them, I just don't want them in my house).
I was thinking the exact same thing. When Steve has time to be the one to take the lovely little or very large dog out for walks twice a day, and feed him, and take him to the vet, and give him baths....then discuss it.
I still am willing to donate Bryce to you guys. Just let me know and I'll pack his things and he's all yours. He's good with kids, house trained and isn't to much trouble except for the love and affection he demands. Great post. Love ya
haha! Great post! I have to admit I am on Stephen's side. Dogs add another dimension to family life (a very funny dimension). But yeah, you should wait until you have a house and a yard, otherwise, everyone will be hating life.
Julia that was about the cutest post I've seen today. That video is so cute too with him giving high fives and passing back the ball. You and your husband have produced one cute kid. Good work.
